WHAT DENVER ARTS WEEK IS ALL ABOUT

This nine-day celebration is a testament to all things art and expression in the lovely city of Denver. There’s a massive number of events planned for the week. Over three hundred, to be a bit more precise, and they’ll be happening at galleries, museums, theaters, and concert venues across the city.

That’s a lot of events, so you’ll need to narrow things down for yourself. You can search for specific events via Denver.Org, but they’ve also got a handy little guide designed to give you some info on some of the more prominent happenings that will occur throughout the week.

Among those prominent happenings, the First Fridays Art Walks seem to be a big ticket. Right on November 1st, they’ll be taking you on a grand tour of original art through participating galleries throughout the city. Some of the most notable participants include the Art District on Santa Fe, Arts on Belmar, Old Town Arvada, RINO Art District, and 40 West Arts District brendaclarksellshomes.

The very next day, November 2nd, will be your chance to catch a Free Night at the Museums, where, as the name suggests, you can get into many of Denver’s most prominent institutions for free from 5:00PM to 10:00PM. The variety here is also expansive, and you’ll have your pick of places like the Black American West Museum, Denver Art Museum, History Colorado Center, and many others to explore.

Lastly, if you want to give the performing arts community a nod, you can do so at the featured events of Denver’s on Stage, like the Denver Film Festival and several other. It’ll be another great chance to immerse yourself in the creativity of Denver, and learn a thing or two about some of the city’s rich cultural heritage.
